We assume a high level of motivation in our athletes and their families in both running and academics; PACK simply aims to build on this dedication with support via expert coaching and building positive relationships with fellow athletes, future coaches, and many others who will be fundamental on the journey to success.
Membership in PACK is via invitation only, following a trial period. We do not aim to discourage runners who approach the sport from a recreational perspective, but we seek to work only with those who aim high and are willing to put in the work required.
As well, because we know that middle and long-distance running is at its core an individual sport, we look to build a comprehensive understanding in athletes on how training and racing works – not simply a relationship where the athlete “takes orders” from the coach.
With that in mind, our training follows a model where athletes come together frequently for workouts, but must also find the time to train solo when we are not together.
